Not unlike many entrepreneurs and business leaders, when launching my business, rather than relying on systems and processes that already existed I was proud and a bit stubborn. So, I created self-generated processes, downloads, and videos. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, it didn’t take long to realize I was falling into the trap that many struggling entrepreneurs experience in managing their business.

Rather than spending time with clients, I was unintentionally spinning wheels, wasting energy, and being inefficient.

Often, entrepreneurs will invest 5, 10, or even 20 years implementing unproven systems. After a few months or even weeks, they’ll give up on them and resume business as usual. Worse yet, with each attempt they lose credibility with employees who wonder: “Are they serious?” “Will this new ‘cure-all’ last?”

In my case, it was even more unwise. I knew of a system that actually worked, yet was attempting my own thing instead! Fortunately, pride stepped aside and wiser minds prevailed. I recalled the program that injected effective and longstanding success for my prior company. That system is EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System.

Overall, the business’ strategy was effective enough: the company had a talented team, a hungry culture, and was paying its bills. But something *more* was missing.

Over the past 15 years, my prior organization had considered many innovative business ideas. It was the rare gem that became woven into the company fabric. In 2015, the company had heard about a book that was gaining popularity in entrepreneurial circles called Traction, by Gino Wickman. I received a copy and devoured it. The organization’s leader was open to its practical principles and hired an EOS Implementer.

EOS provided a practical system for what our company had long sought and more!

After a 90-minute meeting outlining the road map and monthly facilitation from an EOS Implementer the organization executes the EOS system to this day. The guaranteed improvements occurred in the following areas:
